    The story The Last Leaf by O. Henry reminds us that we should never lose hope quickly. It also teaches us the meaning of true friendship, sacrifices, and being an optimistic and positive person.

    The story starts with two girls who love painting and one of the girls which are Johnsy always thinks negative things and is hopeless and that causes harm to herself that's why she gets ill and sick, and he said that after the leaf in the tree outside of her mirror fall, she also dies, that's why his friend talk to Mr. Bernham their also, she said that Johnsy already loses hope and she thinks after the leaf fall she has also died, but after they talk Mr. Bernham go outside in the middle of the night where the weather is not okay because there is a typhoon that causes a lot of harm to their village and Johnsy think that the Typhoon will be the one that causes to fall the leaf, but Mr. Bernham do something and paint a leaf to the tree, and after that, he also gets ill and died but Johnsy heal and become an optimistic and hopeful person, and the last masterpiece of Mr. Bernham change the understanding and personality of Johnsy in life.

    In life, we face many problems, challenges, and adversity, but we need to put in our mind that all the people or individuals in our world also experiencing those things, so we need to become optimistic, positive, and hopeful, and never give up because like what a Filipino is they just smile in their problem because all the problem always have a solution, so don't give up and continue because there is a wonderful future ahead. And also always put in our mind that if we have big problems there are people on our side like friends and family so don't be shy to ask for help because sometimes they are the ones who help you to solve your problem.
